How the work permit works
The usual route for skilled workers from India:

Employer declares the vacancy to the national employment agency (ADEM).
- 2
You apply to the Immigration Directorate for an authorisation to stay as a salaried worker, then for a long-stay (D) visa.

After arrival you declare your address at the town hall and apply for your residence permit.
