How the work permit works

The usual route for skilled workers from India:

  1. 1

    Employer confirms the job offer and terms (collective agreement pay applies).

  2. 2

    You apply online to the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) for a residence permit for an employed person.

  3. 3

    You visit the visa centre to verify your identity, then travel once the permit is granted.
