About the job
Bend sheet metal parts on CNC press brakes in a manufacturing workshop, setting up the tools and checking parts against drawings.
What you'll do
- Read technical drawings and plan the bending sequence
- Select and set up punches and dies
- Program or adjust CNC press brakes (for example Delem or Cybelec controls)
- Bend steel, stainless steel and aluminium parts to the right angles and dimensions
- Measure finished parts and keep quality within tolerance
What you need
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC press brakes
- Able to read technical drawings and bending tolerances
- Confident with measuring tools such as vernier calipers and protractors
- Experience programming the press brake control is an advantage
- Able to pass a practical trade test
- Passport valid for at least 2 years
- Basic English for safety instructions
